Last Day – Boston

They dropped us off in Boston Harbor, and we spent the afternoon at Quincy Market.  Ate at Dick’s and visited the “Cheers” store.

Day 7 – Bar Harbor / Acadia Natl. Park

Beautiful Day. Clear, wonderful view from Cadillac Mountain.  Nice time in Bar Harbor.  The pictures say it all.

Day 6 – St. John / Bay of Fundy

The weather is looking a little better today.  Actual sunshine in the sky.  We took a bus tour around St. John and to the Bay of Fundy where we saw the reversing rapids.  Very interesting little town.

Day 5 – Halifax and Peggy’s Cove

Halifax was the city that helped save some of the Titanic folk when she sank.  Very interesting city.  We took a bus tour and went out to Peggy’s Cove, a little fishing village on the coast.  Here are some pictures from Peggy’s Cover (raining).

Chocolate Buffet

To everyone’s delight, the Norwegian Dawn hosted a Chocolate Buffet.  Here are some of the highlights!!!

Day Four – Sydney

This quaint little town had a church bazaar with lots of homemade crafts, and nice tourist shop, and a yarn store (which we never found). It was a little cold, but getting warmer the further south we went.  They are famous for their violins, as you can see.

Day Three – Corner Brook

The first land day was in Corner Brook, Newfoundland.  Not much to see, and it was snowing, so here are some pictures of our dinners and desserts!

Day Two – on the St. Lawrence

All day Saturday was a trip up the St. Lawrence.  Couldn’t see much due to fog, but we went to shipboard events,  Magician that night I think, Or was it the comedian.  It’s all a blur now that it’s over.  Here are a few pics from the ship

Day 1 – Friday

We almost didn’t make it due to plane delays, but we got to the ship just as they started boarding. Yay.  2 sisters, 1 mother-in-law, and myself began a journey we will remember forever.

Well. I’m back from the cruise, but I didn’t have any free wireless ( or reasonable access)
